Never Run With Another Man's Time

Samuel and Emmanuel has been friends from their childhood. They are both from a poor background. Despite all, they're hardworking,full of energy. They believe that one day, they'll make it, leaving the realm of poverty to prosperity. After some years, Samuel had to live with his uncle in the city while Emmanuel relocated with his parent to another state entirely. Distance separated them, they lost contact and never got in touch with one another for 10yrs. Samuel work with his uncle as his apprentice, selling electronics and electrical tools. His honesty,integrity and simple minded personality made his uncle and his uncle's wife love him more. They bought him a phone and that was the beginning of his destruction. He was on facebook when he got a notification that he has got a friend request. To his greatest surprise,it was Emmanuel, his childhood friend. Emmanuel appear to be living in abundance;his pictures online can speak louder for him. Samuel was amazed, wondering how Emmanuel got to made it better than him. While chatting, Emmanuel told Samuel,they aren't in the same class and level anymore, which made Samuel sad and worried. Samuel, who has been doing well in his uncle's house, began to steal, to get expensive clothes and shoes, just to post his pictures on facebook, looking good. He got disappointed when he noticed that all he has done can't stand shoulders with Emmanuel's. Samuel engaged into fraud. He began to dupe people and he got millions in the pace of 1yr. Emmanuel kept posting his good pictures as usual, just for him to see Samuel's affluence on social media beat his records,but never gave it a second thought. After two years, EFCC arrested Samuel and he was charged for murder and fraud. He was using human's part to boost his money as a fruadster(yahoo+). Emmanuel got the news and visited Samuel in the prison and told him that all his pictures he do post on facebook are borrowed clothes and rented ones from a nearly boutique. Samuel was shocked, tears began to roll down his cheeks. His uncle and his uncle's wife visited him, crying bitterly, telling him how they had gotten him a shop secretly, filled with electronic and electrical tools,so he can get his freedom and start his own business, to settle down and plan for marriage. On hearing this, Samuel almost killed himself. He wished the ground could open up and swallow him. He wished he could reverse time to when he used to be a good boy, before he met Emmanuel,but it was too late. Samuel was sentenced life imprisonment with hard labour. He later died after spending two years in the prison.
